Kevin Quinn
Before coming to St. Norbert in 1994 to be an Economics professor, Dr. Kevin Quinn had quite the interesting path. He earned an undergraduate degree in both physics and mathematics from Loyola University in Chicago, worked in both the aerospace and medical imaging industries for seven years, earned an MBA in Marketing and Economics from the University of Illinois-Chicago in 1989, and finally returned to the University of Illinois Chicago to earn a P.h.D in enegery and environmental economics. Dr. Quinn is a sports enthusiast and has published a book titled, “Sports and Their Fans”, which examines the relationship between spectator and sport. Even though he comes from Chicago and still claims to be a Bears fan, Dr. Quinn plays a huge role in the Sports and Society Conference.
