George Bodenheimer is the Executive Chairman of ESPN Inc. and ABC Sports and co-chair of Disney Media Networks.  From 1998 – 2011, Bodenheimer served as the fifth president of ESPN, where he was responsible for the record-breaking growth at the company.  Bodenheimer also strived to have sporting events, like Monday Night Football, NBA, MLB, college football, golf, and tennis, all be available to sports fans around the world.

Bodenheimer also helped create The V Foundation for Cancer Research, which was founded by ESPN and the late basketball coach, Jim Valvano.  Since 1993, The V Foundation has raised over $100 million with 100% of cash donations going directly to cancer research.
